Fine Art archival prints, highly scanned from a hand painted original of one of Cowley Roads’ iconic features. During lockdown I wanted to capture some of Oxford’s signature corners and places that have been such thriving hang outs over the years. Having lived here throughout my life the Kazbar has always been an inviting spot, associated with being the “Sunny side of Oxford” - normally gathered with groups of people on a balmy summer’s evening eating tapas, drinking sangrias, listening to live music, and loving life. As an artist I was drawn to the beautiful Moroccan decor, hanging lanterns and and general colours and shapes beaming through the glass windows. It’s an East Oxford gem! The original was painted with a mix of gouache, acrylic and inks. The colours really pop on these superb quality, textured fine art prints.
