Every Spring I’m taken by the mesmerising breath taking corners of Oxford among the gorgeous new beginnings of nature blooming into a new life. The Magnolia are always such a signature part of how I conjure up Oxford this time of year, against the golden stone. There’s something so delightful about appreciating the beauty of these plants against the timeless architecture of the Radcliffe, seeing their petals cascade onto the cobbled ground.
This is a recent artwork that was drawn digitally on Procreate using a range of brushes to represent the sort of organic mediums and textures Francesca uses frequently in her artwork.
